Description of the project
The subject of the performed evaluation is the evaluation of the horizontal topic gender mainstreaming, applied within CIP EQUAL, or some other ESF programs. The performed investigation analyses in detailed actual form, potential, results or threatening of the support for the gender mainstreaming principle in projects financed from ESF. On the basis of a selected sample of RP experiences from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Germany will be analyzed. Knowledge of the fulfilment of the gender mainstreaming principle in a wider context ascertained by the analysis in the selected member states will be generalized and will become one of the main inputs for the proposal for the recommendation for the programming period 2007 - 2013. This will enable to formulate specific practical recommendations which can be used during the new programming period.
